What is the PTA Board?

The PTA Board consists of officers and committee chairs, teacher representatives, and our principal. We meet once a month to keep our PTA running and to make decisions about issues & events for our school and community. Some PTA programs you've probably heard of:

Which positions are open?

All positions are a one year commitment. Learn more about each of the positions HERE!

  • VP of Hospitality - manages refreshments or meals provided at PTA sponsored events

    • Hospitality Chair - helps VP of Hospitality with events & snack closet

  • VP of Development - manages Academic Games and Spring Auction

    • Development Chair - helps VP of Development with Academic Games and Spring Auction
  • Programs Chair - helps VP of Programs with STEAM Night, Winter Carnival, Health and Wellness Week, and Multicultural Night

Why do we need YOU to join?

Our PTA is powered by the creativity and collaboration of its volunteers. We need parents and guardians from all backgrounds to be able to problem solve effectively for our whole community. The events at our school cannot happen without the help of our parent volunteers!

 

What's involved?

Joining our Board is a one year commitment and officers can hold a position for up to two consecutive years. Our Board meets once a month, every second Monday of the month at 7p, for an hour. PTA Board positions range from less than an hour per week to up to four hours per week. Intimated by the time commitment? Many volunteers split a role with another volunteer.
