A mentoring program open to incoming families of all grades and designed to help welcome your family to our Macfarlane Park community!

PURPOSE

The purpose of the mentoring program is to let you know we are so glad you are part of our community and to help get you acclimated to your new school!

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

If you are interested in receiving a mentor, you will be matched with another Macfarlane Park family who has been at the school at least 2 years and speaks the language spoken in your home (if possible).

Your mentor will call the week prior to school starting, once during the first week of school, and once a month thereafter for the first 3 months of school via the communication form you mutually choose (ie. Zoom, Facetime, phone, email, text).

Additionally, we will be hosting a time for you to meet your mentor in August before school starts (if possible).  Time and location will be given to you by your mentor. If you or your mentor are unable to attend you can schedule another time!
